Vice City 2009

As always, Vice City will host a relaxed, casual atmosphere.  Beer will be served, and music will be played.  Our game selection will support this, favoring casual games instead of long, drawn out games.  The goal is to make certain that everyone who walks into Vice City is able to play any of the games that they see without having to wait an hour for someone to finish with a session.  Plus, casual games are fun!

Kids will be welcome in Vice City 2009, but only when accompanied by an adult.  Vice City is not the convention’s babysitting service.  If you’re depending on Vice City, other parties, or convention services to watch your kids while you’re at the con we think you’re a neglectful parent.  Please be responsible with your kids.

This year we’re doing away with the hard alcohol and mixed drinks in favor of a selection of quality beers on tap.  Ideally, we’ll have 3 different homebrews available for party guests to sample.

The Powers that Be have made their decision. It's official - Convergence is now a 4 day convention, effective immediately. This means that Vice City 2009 will now be a three day party instead of a two day party. That's 50% more classic gaming fun for convention attendees!

I need some more help with setting up and tearing down Vice City 2009. If you are interested in helping, check out the volunteer section or email volunteer@spriteengine.com

Vice City has a dire need of support in the form of donations.  To make it easier to donate to the room party this year I’ve set up a Paypal subscription service.  Basically, if you have a credit card and can afford to chip in $5 per month you’re all set to help out the party by clicking that obnoxiously yellow button over on the left side of the page.  The cool thing about this method is that you don’t even have to have a Paypal account for it to work – all you need is a a generous heart and a credit card with at least a $5 limit.
